This turned out to be more darned fun. So much so, that I plan to try it when my mind goes walkabout and I want it to focus on writing. Here are the directions:
Come up with an unlikely word combination. You can make up your own, choose words at random from a source text, or use a generator. Examples: Foolish Ninja, Calamitous Rock, Hurry Pork, Jugular Magnet
Visit Google and do a search on your combination (no quotes around the terms). Google will display a list of pages, and short descriptions for each site. Compose a poem using only the page titles and short descriptions. You can use multiple pages of search results.
My words were: beetle string and the poem: Fly a Beetle on a String
Kathy Douglas: Acceptable Crumpets
Zann Carter: Something to a Distant Point Like That Was Possible
Richard Walker: Fictional Nominee
Pat Brisson: Is There Room on the Broom for a Frog Like Me
